Scarlet leaves

After a dull start to the morning, and a slight drizzle, the sky brightened and the air warmed.

As I was heading out, this array of leaves, literally swamping the back fence, caught my attention and I have tried to capture the warmth and richness of the scene.

I have to admit a certain scepticism as to how these pictures actually look on a full size screen but the iPhone seems to be taking some cracking shots.
