Buscot weir

Unbelievable weather for October! Went for a short walk to Buscot weir, and was rather surprised to see almost all the trees surrounding this 'pool' like area by the weir chopped down. I am sure it is all in a good plan, but it looks so wrong. These were large trees, weeping willows and whatever. Many had rope swings on, so one could swing out into the Thames, should you so wish to.

We sat by the Lock for a while too, but no boats going past today.
