Church in Les Écrennes

A gorgeous day today - wall to wall sunshine under clear blue skies and a high of 25 C - pretty nice for mid-October! It would have been a wonderful day to get out for a full day outing, but unfortunately Roger had a church council meeting in the morning, so we had to make do with an afternoon bike ride in the countryside east of Châtelet en Brie. This was the parish church in Les Écrennes, which looked so attractive with the beautiful flowers in the foreground - obviously past their best, but still very pretty. In the evening we were out for dinner with people from church - a lovely evening!
