Up Close and Personal

Its harvest time here. Not as easy as it looks and certainly not just sitting in a cab all day. Took the Tweenies down to see how it all works, accompanied by the wife of the landowner......we had just had a pleasant afternoon with coffee and strawberry tarts.
The combine got stuffed with hay and jammed. The guys here are trying to get it clear. Dangerous work in amongst the blades and prongs. Once it was all moving again the Tweenies were delighted to watch it discharge the grain into the trailer.

Time to cover up the plasma tv to stop the corn lice moving in!!!
