My life, my lens

Veronica

We started the day visiting the Tower of London to see the poppies and the crowds were huge. The poppies were breathtaking but it was difficult to reflect being so tightly packed to see them.

We then had a walk along the river and a wonderful leisurely lunch at the Northhbank Resturant and met Veronica. She is the owners dog and decided to befriend us as we sat watching the world go by. It was very funny watching people see her as they walked passed the window and how much Londoners love dogs.

After lunch we took a Routemaster towards Trafalgar Square. Helen and Martin had tickets for us all for the Mall Gallaries to see the Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition. It was an amazing display of work and to see the coastline and sea captured in so many different ways.

After a walk back through the city and a rest at home we headed out for another lovely dinner at the Bleeding Heart Bistro.
