Pletna

We took the tourist bus to Lake Bled, a leftover of glacial erosion in Slovenia.

You have to take a Pletna ride to the island. The boats are a 16th century design rowed from the rear with two oars/rudders. It's hard work and the 'Pletnarstvo' are all very well muscled young men. The boats are a bit like gondola?
