Clive James

The Australian author and TV presenter was on the Andrew Marr show this morning talking about dying. He has a terminal illness and has been writing poetry to help him say goodbye. As he read a poem he spoke about the beautiful maple bush in his garden which we could see over his shoulder outside.
Whilst at my sisters house for dinner I too could see a beautiful red bush in her garden which made me think of him fondly, as I remember watching his chat shows years ago, and enjoyed them very much.
So this is my tribute to Clive James.
