Little River...again!

Definitely one of our favorite spots to go for a walk.

With the promise of some big waves, due to some hurricane activity, somewhere close by.....we decided to go check out the waves at Little River beach! we were not disappointed.

The light was very flat and misty, almost mystical! the waves were crashing and powerful. Terry and i walked quite far along the beach to a spot where we've previously witnessed a strange phenomenon! Some waves go sideways and some come forward....giving us a very chaotic and tumultuous effect. We sat on a piece of driftwood, side by side, with lovely feelings of quiet companionship...nothing like it!

Didn't get home till quite late, luckily we'd put a chunk of meat in the slow cooker so all we had to do was prepare the veggies....and we had a fabulous feast. Mind you all 3 of us seemed to be quite tired after our expedition - but such a satisfied feeling!
