Infrared Desert

The desert takes on an unearthly glow in the afternoon's infrared light. The Four Peaks area just north of Mesa/Phoenix, AZ. This was taken with a filter that allows a fair amount of visible light through to the camera's sensor. Later, I'll post one using a filter that allows almost no visible light through, and then another of the scene in normal lighting. The differences are startling.
