Dancing Peacock at the Castle

Once upon an Island on a fine Sunday October afternoon (a balmy 20degrees Celsius) this peacock was caught dancing to the mute lyres of the castle cherubs.

What is a fairytale without a castle.

Peculiarly, our 152 year old west coast Canadian Island town, has two, yes , two, enchanting castles.
As luck would have it one of our favourite walks with the dogs is through the woods of nearby Hatley Castle.
