Russet Griz

This Grey Heron was found by a member of the public with a gunshot injury to the wing. The decision was made to release the heron at Ghadira Nature Reserve, as the heron would still be able to hunt and feed within the reserve without being able to fly. Not necessarily a happy ending for this bird, but at least a life was saved.
