Books

We had a lovely time again at the library today and we had the children's area almost completely to ourselves. We returned a stack of books and left with a new mountain to discover and a couple of DVDs, Frozen, Brave and Charlie Chalk. It was fun to share a couple of my own childhood favourites. I hope E enjoys this one and the Happy Families series, she's ready for more detailed stories now. Other current E favourites include Winnie the Witch and The English Roses. Later, leaving Chris to stories and bedtime, I scurried merrily to Chiswick to meet Lucy for uninterrupted chat, wine and supper. I've waited for this evening for years and it was a delight.
