The very last Piggy blip....

My last guinea pig has died this afternoon peacefully. This is the last photo ever of Little-one. Little-one always tugged my sleeve and was still able to do this morning but I could tell there was weakness and I put him back in his cage after lunch where he passed away at 3 pm. It seems a long time ago when Hatty brought him home from the animal shelter where she volunteered in 2008. He has had a long piggy life shared with Boots and Allsorts now also passed away.
Hatty has started a new phase in her medical degree today, starting on her first ever rotation in hospital.
The end of an era...
