Evening view

The weather has not been rainy, as forecast. In fact, it was quite sunny this morning (and the morning light was excellent). But it's been humid all day (thunderstorms are forecast for later in the week), and this afternoon the sunset was extraordinarily subtle.

The conference I have been at was more or less as expected. Some interesting interventions from colleagues both known and previously unknown. Some good networking. And some interventions that probably weren't really quite up to scratch - but somehow had to be made.

And thanks for all the lovely people who stopped by for my 1500th blip. Most kind. I hope to come by in the next few days - especially when I have access to a more reliable internet connection.
