'Short' Sighted

Amy came home from school on Friday and announced she had made the Year 7 & 8 football team. Great news and her first match is tomorrow. So this morning I had to race down to the school uniform shop to get her a pair of school shorts.

When we bought her uniform in the summer, she had decided on the school skort and not the shorts as part of her PE uniform. Now given that Amy isn't bad at football, it was a bit 'short' sighted of me (excuse the pun!) as a skort isn't really appropriate when playing football. So we now have both!

Today's shot is of some rather aggressive barbed wire that adorns a timber merchants in Twickenham. I'm sure it's pretty effective in keeping out would be thieves!
