After the beans

I always find it interesting to see what has grown under the runner beans after i've taken the poles down. I plant too closely to be able to see much., or weed anything, while the beans are growing. The question is, let the foxgloves flower, and plant broad beans between them, or have a wild year, and let everything grow! There are some nice things here -mullein, hedge parsley, feverfew, columbine.

I do like broad beans, though!
