Autumn Mushrooms

I wasn't expecting to find these on my after school walk at Itchingfield, but I found these in the hedge in the next field on from the one I have frequently photographed. Plus you get a free slug as well as he was on the one that's lying on it's side!

I think these are all Parasol Mushrooms but I have never seen them before in this location and so many together so a good find. The ground was of course wet but not too squelchy which made it easier for walking. Sadly this is the final week of light late afternoons so while it is dry I will try and make the most of them.
