Symmetry and the symmetrically challenged.

Today's Mono Monday challenge is symmetry.

As I was already planning to go to Southport, Southport was going to have to give me symmetry whether or not it was in the mood.

This Victorian holiday destination is awash with symmetrical villas; the Victorians liked a neat and tidy facade. But humans can be relied upon to undo the architects' finest plans by adding people, signs, benches and all the other detritus of urban living.

My friend (the one who, when we were on holiday, threw herself into a barbed wire fence to get attention ) didn't want to miss any of the symmetrical action.... But, she's always been spatially challenged.
