A new perspective

I had intended to go up to the allotment today but it was too cold and damp and horrible.

One advantage of this was that I tidied out my underwear/sock drawer, as you do, and found an old pair of leg warmers (they were kind of fashionable about, erm, twenty-five years ago I suppose). I was just thinking that I might as well throw them out as I hadn't worn them for about twenty-five years when it dawned on me that I could put them on. Result - warm legs!

A second advantage was that I persuaded myself to do some yoga. While I was in a shoulder stand I noticed that the old Dracaena marginata in the study is quietly heading for the ceiling.

I couldn't think of any more advantages from today's weather.
