First signs of autumn

I don't want to think about it, but it's hard to ignore - some of the grape leaves are just beginning to turn colour........autumn is in the air.

Don't get me wrong - I love autumn! One of my favourite seasons in fact. But autumn means the end of summer and, worse, the start of winter.

Spent some time out in the garden today doing some snipping, pulling, slashing, chopping and digging. It felt great to be doing it and I'm planning on getting home from work early a couple of days this week to do some more.

Anyway, back to the grape leaf - not the best of shots as it was pretty breezy with the afternoon sea breeze, but I really like the patterns in the leaf.
