A rainy day

It was pouring rain almost all day long, and to begin with we didn’t quite feel like going out in that weather. Mostly because of a lack of proper rain clothes. But sometime after lunch we got tired of being inside, so I borrowed a rain jacket from my daughter and some old shoes, and off we went to the big mall nearby. It was actually rather warm outside and it would have been nice to have the right clothes and be able to go for a longer walk in the rain. At the shopping mall I bought some comfortable training shoes (so I won’t get sore feet in Spain), we went to a café and then to the grocery store where we bought some decent beef for the evening meal. Also we bought some clothes and toys for little Erik Valdemar. I wanted to buy him a rattle, as he’s big enough to play with it now. When we walked home again it had stopped raining, and the sky was absolutely stunning, as the sun was going down, with accompanying golden, pink and blue colors. The evening meal was absolutely delicious and Erik Valdemar played with his new toys, so everybody was happy :)
