My Best Friend

We took this picture to put on the front of our AP English portfolio binders. It is my friend Hunter and I sitting in his basement getting ready to play our favorite game, Battlefield 4. We have our traditional Mountain Dew in glass bottles, a bag of popcorn, and an empty box of nerds that failed to make it into the picture. Hunter and I really became friends in High School when we played the trombone together in the school band. We also were inducted into the National Honors Society together. We became close friends over the years, playing videogames online, marching around on different football fields, and sleepovers with a lot less sleep than overs. When Battlefield 4 came out, we both had to have it. Ever since, it has been our favorite game, and we try to get on together as often as possible. We have met new friends online that we sometimes play with, but we both agree that we prefer just the two of us. I quit the band two years ago to further study history, but Hunter and I are still as close as ever. Even though we come from two different ends of the spectrum, Hunter is still my best friend.
