Lake Te Koutu

We took the pup for a walk at Lake Te Koutu - a beautiful green space in the heart of Cambridge, NZ. Nearby in the park, workmen were felling some large unstable gum trees. A year ago a tree fell and killed a dog that was playing there. Some trees were removed immediately, and this week more are to go. Sad to see the trees fall, but it could have been a child, or walker killed.
