BOILED EGG, ANYONE? - PINKTOBER 21

It is such a comfort to have a boiled egg with bread and butter “soldiers” when you can’t manage much else. And of course, if you boil two for yourself, one would get cold if not covered - so these lovely little egg cosies are ideal to keep one little egg warm!

Saw these at another of our “coffee stops” - Little Pickle Deli Café, where we are always given a great welcome by Andrew, the owner, and his wife, Karen, and as the pink flowers I saw in the gardens nearby wouldn’t stay still in the very high winds, I couldn’t get a decent photograph so decided these little egg cosies would be ideal for the BCAM pink challenge. I do need to get a pink flower before the end of the month though!

There were no spare tables, so we shared and had a lovely chat with a journalist who wrote about and commented on motor sport from Classic to Formula 1 - Son Number 1 would have loved it!
