Tebebuia - Yellow

A glorious spring picnic day at New Farm Park beside a Yellow Trumpet flower Tebebuia tree.

Tebebuia is a fairly popular tree found in Brisbane's gardens and streets introduced sometime ago to beautified the city. Tebebuia comes in pink flowers too which I blipped on 22 June 2014.

Apparently, they are in the same league as the Jacrandas and Poincianas.
