Landmark dwelling

This house sits on a junction two thirds of the way up the hillside. Straight on will take you to Competa, but bear left for our lovely little village of Archez.
It is built into the hillside like so many houses around here. The front door from the street is the top floor. Below are storage rooms for agricultural activities. You can see the raisin drying beds laid out below the house. They are newly empty as the crop has all been processed now. The weather continues hot and still. We have enjoyed three glorious weeks. So lucky!
