Day is Done

My stove got a nice workout today making lunch for a family gathering. Now it's all cleaned up. That trivet just hangs around; I hadn't used it in ages until our great coffee pot melt down a year or so ago. That's when we went through two automatic coffee makers and a couple incarnations of a Melitta glass carafe (and the trivet) trying to find a new groove, but, I've settled on a French press pot and Eric has settled on tea.
