This is just down from Harlaw Reservoir in the Pentland Hills. Not sure what it's for it certainly looks disused. The brick square has always had water gushing out of it. Don't think it has anything to do with the overflow from the reservoir as this is further downstream. Make a great (but freezing) jacuzzi in the summer.
