Turn On Their Water!!!

The City of Detroit has turned off water to 27,000 homes ....the city has a poverty level of 40% poor. This has caused CPS to take children from families for not having water for them. Craziness in this the United States of America. Choices have to be made by families to pay rent or pay the water bill. Unemployment runs rampant in the motor City. We lived in Detroit for three years in the early seventies while Big R went to law school. The City has so many problems then and things have just gotten worse.

Today's image is a droplet on an old lily branch...done in sepia and faffed around with. It's symbolic of water and the basic human right to not have to go thirsty. What's wrong with our priorities and how can we insure all of our fellow humankind have this basic need met?
