Nendrum Round Tower

I'm back in Belfast for a week to finish clearing my mum's house because we have a buyer for it.
I took some time out from the chores to visit the ancient monastic site and ruin of Nendrum on the shores of Strangford Lough. The site is on the summit of the hill and apparently when intact the tower would have been approx. 89 ft high so it would have been seen over a wide area. It probably dates back to the 10th century.
