Bristol Museum and Art Gallery

A replica of the Bristol Boxkite Flying Machine hangs from the ceiling in the main hall of the Gallery - it was used in the film ' Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines'.

We set off in the storm but it was lovely weather for the rest of the day - we had a session with Egyptian artefacts then explored the Egyptian Gallery. The children enjoyed it but it was a long way from Yeovil with young children ( we had left school at half past 8.) Good for them to see original artefacts but of course highlight of the day was the SHOP!!!
