Fishing for a pot of gold
It's still windy with the sun coming and going. We popped into Exeter calling at various shops, had lunch in Topsham and then headed home. Early evening we had a stroll down the beach around sunset. The sea appeared striking with layers of red (sandstone), murky blue and dark blue with clouds chasing across the horizon. We walked to the estuary where two fishermen were settling down for some fishing and then a rainbow appeared.
Today is our son's birthday. He is in Australia on a boat somewhere in the Whitsundays having a great time. Happy birthday. For the record he has jumped out an aeroplane sky diving, done some white water rafting, had a go at surfing and scuba dived all in the past four weeks.
