The predicted gales weren't as bad as expected so took Misty to Loweswater to cheer myself up. We had a wander in Holme Wood for a couple of hours and the cobwebs got blown away :) We bumped into Anne and Roger again who run Loweswater cam They had lots of retrievers with them too! They have a great website with lots of photos of the Lakes so please do have a look if you have time :) I noticed lots of bare trees in the woods but thankfully there's still plenty more still with leaves intact so hopefully will get some autumn colour soon. I'm a bit behind with commenting, trying to catch up :):)
