Party party

Not a fun night for me, but illness subsided in the morning. Andy took the boys out for a little walk whilst I repacked. Nathaniel got very excited when we said we were going to see Nama and Grumps, "I can see...Ro...er...Ze...er, I can see my cousins!" Journey initially went well, both boys asleep within half an hour and traffic not too unkind. Then 20mins from the party Nathaniel was sick. Poor boy was very brave whilst we cleaned him up then made our way there.
Party was lovely, full of beautiful details. Afternoon tea on lovely tiered cake stands, so Nathaniel quickly settled in helping himself to a bite of each type of mini cake! There were big cakes too with edible 'diamonds', so Faith and Warwick had some practice cake cutting. The trampoline was a huge hit with Nate and his cousins, but it contributed to Andy's relapse. So we headed home, 3hrs drive each way for about 4hrs there...but worth it to see everyone. Poor Bay was not his usual happy self, thought it was teeth or being overwhelmed with strangers...but on our way home he was poorly too. Lots of washing to be done now!
