Can you believe it? They are still hanging on and after today's wind they are literally all over the garden. Bending, swaying but still giving colour. In October! A source of much joy to me ;)

I worked from home today and broke the back of a lot of stuff that I hadn't had a chance to do over the past two weeks of steering the good ship. Speaking of backs, I have managed to knacker mine and am currently nursing a heated pack stuffed down the back of my jeans. Atteactive? Looks rather odd with a wade of wadding sticking out but I am hoping the heat does the trick
