The Long and Winding Road
Actually it isn't very long. Or very winding. Just a decent sized bit of road up off the A85 through the village, up to the road from which ours leads off.
You may remember me moaning a week or two ago, about the roof which had appeared in an adjacent garden, preventing me from seeing down to the spot where I used to see G first coming home from work. Well, since then 2 other roofs have appeared in the same garden. That is 4 houses now all cheek by jowl, and spoiling the outlook of neighbours all around that garden.
As you can see, one of them in particular is pretty dominant! Sitting right at the top of the brae, looking out over the village and twice as big as the original house.
I don't understand the planning in this area, if anyone has a spare 2 foot of garden, they get permission to build - quite regardless to the effect on other folks amenities.
In other news, although it has been mad windy, it was actually quite a nice day here. Blue skies, and the wind kept the rain away. But Boy! was it cold.
Snow forecast on the hills this week.
