Saved FromThe Squirrels

Today, with brush in hand, I painted Goldenrod on a plate to compliment frolicking squirrels. The obvious choice for this blip would be one of the many photos I took of the lush and pollen laden plant. Instead, I offer this glorious Magnolia seed pod...saved from the hungry squirrels by a thoughtful friend. I had mentioned my desire to draw, to paint, to photograph one...complete with seeds. Abundant in beauty and form...suggestive of new life and promise...as my first Blip experience has been. Many thanks to all.
