Adevnturous male teenager

This young man was game for trying on a yukata (a Japanese traditional garb, the humble version of a more familiar kimono), but not the shoes. A man has to set dignity limits somewhere... :-)

I took this picture during a presentation by a university class to high school students on Japanese culture. The youngsters learned about tight cultures where the norms are very strict, about ethnocentrism and other long words. Trying on the clothes was the highlight of the event.
