Grumpy Old Man

Tiny gem

I'm about to rush off to Edinburgh - Sheila and I, plus our daughter, are going to see 'The Jersey Boys' this evening. Back home - and work - by lunchtime tomorrow.

A constantly wet morning - so I snatched a close-up of Sarmienta repens, a delightful little scrambler from Chile, at present in the glasshouse but due to be tried out in the garden some time. I'm already tried and lost it before.

This little flower is only about 3/4" long and is in the family Gesneriaceae, as are African violets.
