Morning has broken

Continuing with the early morning theme, woke to the most amazing sunrise.
Even yesterday was sunny, although a little windy. Brighton, which is only 8 miles away was lashed with rain so we could have felt smug if we hadn't had a power cut all day. We became very excited as we thought we could use the generator we had purchased with the house, but couldn't get the thing to work.
Gave it all up as a bad job and went swimming instead. Shoulder felt much better afterwards, although I did feel a little embarrassed to be swimming with the help of a noodle. I felt I needed to offer an explanation to all the serious swimmers that forged passed me - but no-one stopped to listen, I wonder why?
