"Firsts" for today

I wore matching shoes! I am delighted to ditch the Velcro, disabled, foam thing from the hospital and manage to get into normal footwear.

And then I went to collect Will from school!! I was greeted by some with delight to see me out and about and others with vague mystery that a. I had crutches and b. They hadn't seen me about lately. I only like to get involved so far in school - make two friends and stop there, that's my motto.

Will's teacher accurately identified me as his mum though, I like her already. I took the child of one friend and went to the park with the other. All very normal and nice.

All hurts a bit now though and I am wondering if Monday's grand adventure may need to be revised a little.
