Here we go again...
Day 1 of running in my new orthotics (and my shiny new trainers). It wasn't great, but I have to start somewhere.
I could feel the orthotics jarring as I ran. But that's down to the under-developed muscles in my inner calves/feet and I'm working on them every day.
This time I am taking it slow. I'm taking some good advice and I'm starting again. I'm drawing a line under my past running life and I'm learning how to do it again. Properly.
Today I ran one mile. You know what it means to me. For once I have no words to express it.
