A different perspective

I have photographed the churches at Queen's Cross more times than I can remember. Today I was on my way to Dizzy's (pub) when I there was a nice light as the sun appeared through the clouds. I tried several shot of the church but there are buildings in the way from this angle.

Finally I noticed there was a tree that had turned bright red in the autumn. So I gave up on most of the church, the light had changed by this time anyway, and decided to go for the tree with just a bit of the spire showing.

My visit to the pub was a business meeting, but I thought I should have a pint anyway. Luckily we managed to conclude before the natural light from the window deserted us, there was not enough internal lighting for us to have been able to see very much.

I made a quick visit to see Cosmo at lunch time, and we agreed to go for a walk tomorrow.
