Still green.

There was nothing in the diary today! I've such a busy time that this was a bonus. The sun was shining and Normous was out at golf all day, so I put Classic FM on and had a good housework session. Then I went out and ran a few errands, and drove up the lanes to the top of the North Downs, hoping to see brilliant beech tree colours. The sides of the lanes were thick with fallen leaves, brought down by yesterday's high winds, but there were still plenty on the trees and they were still mostly green. Beech trees are beautiful at any time, green, red or bare, and I must go back in a few weeks' time to see how they have changed.
