Porty

As we had nothing planned today I asked Jacob what he would like to do and he answered straight away with "beach"! We headed to portobello though Harris wanted to go to "portogullane". I spent an hour swaying with Arabella asleep on my chest, kicking the ball for Henny, while Jacob dug a huge hole with a digger and built a sandcastle. He was most annoyed when the sea came in to cover it up shouting "stop sea" at the top of his voice. Finally persuaded him back to the car with promises of a picnic in the boot. On the way home he was so happy he made up songs all the way home. "Arabella, and Jacob, and daddy, and mummy, and tractor, and goose, and fish and chiiiiiiiips".
This afternoon we ate home made sausage rolls by the fire watching DVDs.
Last night Arabella actually laughed in her sleep. An incredibly happy sound.
