Now It Just Leads To A Wall

This avenue used to lead up to an old Estate house, now it just leads to a wall. The original house, built in 1539 was demolished in 1819 as it's owner needed to put all his money into the refurbishment of Chatworth House. An Elizabethan country house was later built on the site and currently sits in about 200 hectares of parkland.
