Gonzalo

Today we got hit by the remnants of Tropical Storm Gonzalo. Although it was extremely windy, the sun was out most of the day, and we finally bundled up and headed to our nearby park. I was wearing a coat and hat and scarf, but I soon wished I was wearing gloves too!

There's a little small wooded area on the edge of the park. Although it only takes a few minutes to walk through it, we often do as Dolly seems to love the woods. It was particularly beautiful today with the sun shining through the branches and the leaves. I really love the interesting patterns on the bark of this tree. Dolly seems to be admiring it too! (Or maybe she's just impatient with me stopping to take pictures?)
