Fun running

A little self indulgent. I wouldn't normally blip these; there are probably more than two hundred dotted around the house. But this was quite memorable for a couple of reasons.
The Heathfield Fun Run was the first race I ever did, more than 20 years ago, it's what got me hooked on this activity that has brought many hours of joy, pain, satisfaction and reward. It has also brought me a lovely wife and consequently two lovely boys.
And that is part of the second reason this was a memorable event. Said good lady and 2 boys watched as the race whizzed by with some old creaky runner leading the (very small) field.
I should add that the lead was not maintained, but it was still a rather special moment.
