Glass Bottom Boat Trip

Lovely sail down the coast to view the coral reef and hopefully find some turtles. Sadly, the turtles were not co-operating and we returned a little disappointed.

However, back at our own beach Shoegirl and I went out on the shallow reef to snorkel and were thrilled to come across two turtles swimming happily around, not in the least bothered about us. We were able to follow them to and fro for a little while but with the surge of the incoming tide jostling us about, it was difficult to stop ourselves getting too close. It was a great sighting and made our day.
