At The Pier

The Pier Art Centre in Stromness has an impressive collection of paintings by Alfred Wallace amongst others. I was at the opening of the new building in 2007 when it was full of people admiring the architecture that combined traditional shapes with modern design. It's still looking good and suits the collection very well.
